Everyone under arrest has the right to free and independent legal advice. 72% of people arrested in England and Wales fail to exercise their right to consult an independent solicitor free of charge while at the police station.
The Johnson Partnership has a solicitor on call for 24 hours of every day to advise and attend free of charge to anyone detained in custody. The solicitor on call is backed up by 56 colleagues, all of whom are trained to give the best possible advice.
We have members of staff ready to help within 45 minutes travelling time of every police station in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, South Yorkshire and West Lincolnshire. We regularly attend clients in custody in the West Midlands, Northamptonshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire, North and West Yorkshire and the rest of Lincolnshire. |
