FRAUD

WHITE COLLAR CRIME

PROFESSIONAL MISCONDUCT

Over the last 10 years The Serious Fraud Office (SFO), The Department of Customs and Excise, (DCE), The Department of Trade and Industry, and endless other local, national and international authorities have geared themselves up to prosecute, prosecute, prosecute.

The dramatic increase in domestic and European legislation as well as professional rules and regulations means that there are now countless enquiries into deception, evasion, impropriety, irregularity and criminal breaches of technical regulations of all sorts.

Within the firm, a specialist team headed up by David Henson, Digby Johnson and in-house counsel Jimmy Beck, has been put together to look after business, professional, and white collar clients. We have established links with forensic accountants, IT interrogators, research investigators, and the commercial departments of several leading firms throughout the country who are not involved in criminal or business defence work. With this network we are able to draw on a vast reservoir of expertise enabling us to advise clients from the first sniff of concern through to the post trial party.

High powered digital scanning and analysis facilities help us to process vast amounts of paper based material in the shortest possible time, helping us to stay at least 2 steps ahead of the opposition.

Flushed with success from a recent acquittal in a £140 million VAT prosecution, we are presently defending white collar clients before Crown Courts in

Southwalk
Birmingham
Bristol
Derby
Stafford
Wolverhampton
Leicester
Sheffield
Nottingham
Liverpool
and The Old Bailey.

We believe that continuity is crucial. If you're facing complex matters you simply need to be sure that your lawyer knows more about the case than anyone else!
