Sadia

Ali

Caseworker & Trainee Solicitor

I studied at the University of Manchester graduating with a LPC in July 2020.
 
I gained experience from a number of firms in the West Yorkshire area prior to joining The Johnson Partnership Solicitors. My most recent position developed my knowledge and expertise working in both the Magistrates’ Court and the Crown Court. I also gained experience in advising suspects detained at the Police Station.
 
I joined Johnson Partnership Solicitors in May 2022. Starting my training contract with the firm in January 2024.
 
I am responsible for the preparation of cases in Crown Court. This includes attending upon clients in the office,prisons and at court. I am also responsible for advising individuals detained at police stations, having successfully completed the Police Station Representative Accreditation Scheme in December 2022.
 
My areas of special legal expertise are drug offence cases and serious violent crimes.

Angelika

Witasik

Caseworker

Angelika started at Johnson's in 2022 in the office at Mansfield. She finished LLB Law at Derby University with grade 2:1 and doing her LPC at Derby University. She currently works as a police station advisor and Crown Court Caseworker. In the future she hopes to practice as a Higher Court Advocate in the Crown Court. She is fluent in Polish and English.

Mollie

Wroe

Caseworker & Trainee Solicitor

Mollie is a Leeds Beckett University graduate, where she studied a Law LLB degree and achieved an upper 2:1. She is currently studying the Legal Practice Course Masters with the University of Law and is also completing her training contract.

Mollie works in the Crown Court department situated in our Sheffield office. She spends her days working with clients who are charged with a variety of serious offences and travels across Yorkshire to see them at prisons, courts and offices.

She is also a fully accredited police station representative and works out of hours assisting clients who have been detained across custody suites in Yorkshire and beyond.

Lydon

Caseworker

I completed my Law Degree at Nottingham Trent University in 2020 and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course and Master of Laws in 2023. I started at Johnson’s in August 2023 following previous legal experience in property law. I developed a keen interest in criminal law as a result of undertaking a 10 week placement at Johnson’s in 2019 and was eager to get back into criminal law at the conclusion of my LPC/LLM. My casework currently comprises of PWITS, violent offences, thefts and burglaries. I have aspirations of becoming police station accredited in 2024 and beginning a training contract to become a qualified solicitor at Johnson’s.

Lucy

Miller

LLB

Caseworker & Trainee Solicitor

Lucy joined The Johnson Partnership in August 2020 when she completed her placement year at the firm during her undergraduate law degree. She graduated Nottingham Trent University in 2022 with a 2:1 in her LLB Law Degree. Lucy continues to work within our Crown Court department, whilst completing her Legal Practice Course Masters degree at Nottingham Law School.

Charlotte

Brothwell

Caseworker & Trainee Solicitor

Charlotte joined the firm in January 2022 as a crown court clerk whilst completing her LPC part time. Her masters dissertation focused on whether criminal legal aid allows access to justice. Charlotte is now a trainee solicitor, due to qualify in November 2024. She has a caseload of various offences, but leans towards offences against the person and clients who struggle with their mental health. She also works closely with the Hull office and takes on the majority of crown court cases there too.

Laura

Briggs

LLM

Caseworker

Laura is a University of Nottingham graduate, where she studied a Law LLB degree and achieved a 2.1. After her graduation in 2018 she then attended Nottingham Law School to study her BPTC. She passed with a Very Competent and was Called to the Bar at Middle Temple in November 2019.

Laura also has a Law Masters from Nottingham Law School which she passed with distinction in July 2020. She has worked at the Johnson Partnership in the Crown Court department since July 2019

Tarryn

Caseworker

Tarryn is a Chartered Legal Executive. She is based at our Scunthorpe Office but travels to our Doncaster and Grimsby Offices to see clients who have been sent to the Grimsby or Sheffield Crown Court. when required. Tarryn is also an accredited police station representative.

Evie started working at The Johnson Partnership in July 2017. She graduated with a degree in Law and Criminology (LLB) after undertaking a dissertation focusing on the mandatory life sentence for murder and the potential for reform. Evie is currently working in the Crown Court department as a Crown Court Caseworker and became a fully accredited police station representative in February 2019, having represented clients in the Police Station for a wide range of offences ever since.

Yas graduated from Sheffield Uni with a BA Hons in History in 2017, and is currently completing the Graduate Diploma in Law at NTU. She started at Johnsons in 2016 in the Chesterfield office, and has worked in the Crown court department since April 2019.

Caseworker

Dave has literally seen it all. He joined the legal profession straight from school and has amassed a little too close to 40 years experience than he might like. He still feels as enthusiastic about obtaining the best possible results than he did on his first day. From murder and manslaughter to organised crime and award winning celebrities there is very little that would surprise shock or unphase him.
