Joined Johnson’s after completing my Masters, LPC and undergraduate at De Montfort University. Started in the Chesterfield office in 2024 as a paralegal, I have since become an accredited police station rep and then began my training contract in April 2025.

Maia joined The Johnson Partnership in February 2022 when she completed her placement through University during her undergraduate degree. She graduated from Nottingham Trent University in July 2023 and is currently studying for her Legal Practice Course Masters degree at Nottingham Law School.
She is a trainee solicitor and police station representative at our Lincoln Office.

Trainee Solicitor and Police Station Advisor
Ellie is an Accredited Police Station Representative and Trainee Solicitor. She has worked at our Mansfield Office since February 2022. She is currently based in our Lincoln Crown Court Department.
Ellie has experience in handling Crown Court files, attending Crown Court to assist Barristers and Clients, preparing trials for Magistrates Court and offering Police Station advice.

Andrea started her training as a mature student earning her LLB and LLM from the University of Derby. Andrea is now waiting to complete her LPC and started working at Johnsons in January 2019 as a member of the Fraud Team. Andrea also attends the police station advising clients.

Ford
Trainee Solicitor & Caseworker
Amber graduated from Lancaster University and achieved a 2:1 in Law with Criminology LLB. She then went on to study the Legal Practice Course LLM and graduated with a distinction. Amber started working for Johnsons in 2024 and is now completing her training contract.
Amber works in the Derby Crown Court Department and is an accredited police station representative. She has an extensive, varied case load which includes Rapes, Kidnaps, Drug Conspiracies and Assaults.

Trainee Solicitor & Police Station Advisor
Brad started with the firm in June 2022 where he did a year long placement in the Crown Court Department through Nottingham Trent University. He performed administration roles along with being a caseworker.
Brad qualified as an Accredited Police Station Representative in December 2023. He attended on clients at the Police Station whilst still studying at University.
Brad graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a 2.1 in Law.
Brad then began a full time position at our Chesterfield Office as a Police Station Representative.

Trainee Solicitor & Police Station Advisor
Callie joined the Johnson Partnership in 2023 and is currently based at the Mansfield office as a Trainee Solicitor. She completed her Law degree at Nottingham Trent University, followed by the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and a Master’s in Law.
She has experience handling a variety of cases at the police station and is actively involved in preparing cases for trial at the Magistrates’ Court.

Vassilena

Caseworker & Trainee Solicitor
Vassi graduated in law from De Montfort University with a first class honours degree and became an accredited police station rep in 2019. She has dealt with cases ranging from simple shop theft to murder, rape and drug conspiracies.
Vassi is a trainee solicitor and police station advisor at our Nottingham Office. Since joining the Crown Court team, Vassi has developed a diverse and substantial caseload, including matters of murder and manslaughter, serious sexual offences, large-scale drug conspiracies, robbery, grievous bodily harm, and cases involving domestic allegations.

Sophie
Lydon
Trainee Solicitor & Caseworker
Sophie is a current Trainee Solicitor working in the Crown Court Department. She deals with a variety of cases including violent offences and sexual offences. She is also Police Station Accredited, advising at the police station out of office hours.
Sophie graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2020 with a Law degree. She went on to complete the Legal Practice Course and Masters of Law in 2023, starting at the Johnson Partnership in August of the same year.
She completed a 10-week placement with The Johnson Partnership in 2019 prior to graduating and developed an interest in Criminal Law as a result of this. Having started her legal practice in 2021 working in Conveyancing, she found her way back to Criminal because of her inclination to help those caught up in the legal system.
Sophie has a complex case load and you will often see her in the local Crown Courts. Once qualified in April 2026, Sophie will be in the local Magistrates Courts.

Mikolaj joined The Johnson Partnership on the 1st October 2021 as a Police Station Co-Ordinator. Since then he has become a fully accredited Police Station Representative.
In July 2024 he completed his LPC at the Nottingham Law School.
Mikolaj is fluent in Polish and English.

Parker
Trainee Solicitor & Caseworker
I have worked at Johnsons since undertaking a 10 week placement at the Mansfield Office during my second year of my undergraduate degree. I was then offered a permanent position in August 2023. During this time I have become an accredited police station representative and have since moved to our Crown Court department in September 2024 in which I litigate a variety of cases including domestic assaults, sexual offences and drug offences. I have a particular interest in litigating cases in which the defendant may be vulnerable and requires extra support throughout their proceedings.
I graduated with a law degree from Nottingham Trent University in 2024 and I am now completing the Legal Practice Course alongside a Masters in Law whilst completing my training contract. Once I qualify I hope to progress into a Higher Court Advocate and continue my work within the Crown Court Department.

Ali graduated from Nottingham Trent University and began working at The Johnson Partnership in September 2019 as a Call Centre Operative.
He joined the Business Law Department and also became an Accredited Police Station Representative in August 2020.
Ali commenced his training contract with the Firm in June 2024 and is currently working as part of the Prison Law Team in Nottingham.

Marc joined The Johnson Partnership October 2023. He graduated from Twickenham St Mary’s University in 2022 and completed his LPC at the University of Law, graduating in 2024.
Since joining the Johnson Partnership, Marc has become an accredited police station representative. Marc started his training contract in December 2024. Marc is based in our Grimsby office, which also covers Scunthorpe.

Angelika
Witasik
Trainee Solicitor & Caseworker
Angelika started at Johnson's in 2022 in the office at Mansfield. She finished LLB Law at Derby University with grade 2:1 and doing her LPC at Derby University.
She is a fully accredited police station advisor and Crown Court Caseworker.
In October 2024, Angelika was offered a training contract and hopes to complete this by April 2026.
In the future she hopes to practice as a Higher Court Advocate in the Crown Court.
Angelika is fluent in Polish and English.

Caseworker & Trainee Solicitor
Mollie is a Leeds Beckett University graduate, where she studied a Law LLB degree and achieved an upper 2:1. She is currently studying the Legal Practice Course Masters with the University of Law and is also completing her training contract.
Mollie works in the Crown Court department situated in our Sheffield office. She spends her days working with clients who are charged with a variety of serious offences and travels across Yorkshire to see them at prisons, courts and offices.
She is also a fully accredited police station representative and works out of hours assisting clients who have been detained across custody suites in Yorkshire and beyond.
