The Johnson Partnership is committed to treating all staff, clients and third parties who we come into contact with equally and fairly. We will not discriminate or tolerate discrimination against anyone on the grounds of gender, gender reassignment, race, religion, marital status, sexual orientation (including civil partnership status), maternity, paternity, disability, age.
We are committed to promoting equality and diversity in all of our interactions with others, in our policies and procedures and the recruitment, retention and promotion of staff. We do not accept discrimination of any kind. All our staff receive training and updates in equality and diversity, how they can accommodate individual needs and the importance of equality and diversity within our firm and the wider community.
We monitor the equality and diversity of the firm on a regular basis and review our recruitment, retention, promotion, working practices and opportunities. We use this information to consider the impact of our practices, procedures and policies and whether or not we need to change any of them, to increase the diversity of the firm and the range of talent that we are able to access to allow us to provide the best possible service to our clients and working environment for every member of the firm.
We publish the data collated from staff on our website in accordance with Data Protection Legislation and SRA requirements.
We aim to provide all clients with the best possible service, and this includes ensuring that our services are accessible to everyone. We have a number of members of staff who speak languages other than English and may be able to assist. We will use interpreters where appropriate to assist in communication with anyone who wants to instruct The Johnson Partnership to represent them at any stage of criminal proceedings and will ensure that correspondence is also translated. If a client is unable to get into our offices, we will make arrangements to see them somewhere that is more easily accessible. Wherever we can, we will make reasonable adjustments to make sure that any individual is in the best position to benefit from the advice that we can provide.
