Theo graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 1999 and joined The Johnson Partnership the following year. In the Crown Court Department he became our first trainee to win the prestigious Hammond Cup for advocacy. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2003, gained Higher Rights in 2007 before becoming a Partner in 2009. Theo has an excellent record of achieving positive outcomes for his clients from members of the general public to high profile individuals and professional sportspeople. He is a tenacious and formidable trial advocate and is the Head of our Derby Office.

Shannon first joined the firm as a Crown Court caseworker in 2015 and is based in our Nottingham office. Since then Shannon has qualified as a duty solicitor and regularly represents clients at both the Magistrates Court and police stations. She continues to deal with and assist counsel in a number of complex Crown Court cases. Shannon also specialises in and is part of our Prison Law team representing a number of clients before the Parole Board and at adjudications.

Partner - Head of Lincoln Office & Solicitor

Vicki studied at the University of Northampton. She joined the firm in January 1997 as a Crown Court Clerk. Vicki qualified as a solicitor in July 2000. She is now the head of our Lincoln Office.

Vicki is married with a daughter and her family share their home with their cocker spaniel. She enjoys spending time with the family, cycling and walking.

Emma qualified as a solicitor in 1999, having studied at Keele University. She became a partner in 2002 and specialises in Youth Court work. Emma dealt with the first case ever reconstructed on Crimewatch.

Euan joined the firm in 2005 as part of his degree at Nottingham Law School. He worked in the crown court department before qualifying as a solicitor in 2012 dealing in all aspects of criminal law and prison law, for which he is now Head of the Department.

Abbie started working at Johnsons in 2011, She works at the Mansfield and Lincoln Offices, dealing with all types of criminal law including youths and clients with mental health issues.

Siân joined The Johnson Partnership on 31st October 2016, as Chris Saunders’ assistant, having just graduated with a degree in Law at Nottingham Trent University. She became an accredited Police Station Representative whilst studying for a Masters in Legal Practice, before going on to become a Trainee Solicitor. Siân is now a qualified Solicitor with vast experience representing clients in the Police Station and Magistrates Court. She is also part of the Prison Law team, representing clients for adjudications and in front of the Parole Board.

Mark

With almost 20 years working in criminal defence, Mark has an extensive breadth and depth of experience and knowledge across the entire range of criminal law and has notably defended in homicide cases, firearms offences and high value drug conspiracies.

Mark is based at our Derby office but regularly travels across the country to provide representation to our clients at the police station and at court. Mark is also a qualified Duty Solicitor with Higher Rights of Audience.

On the rare occasion when Mark is off-duty, he can be found training for his latest marathon - with several medals under his belt, he is currently looking forward to participating in the Boston Marathon with an impressive sub-3 hour record.

Rebecca read law at the University of Hull. She joined the Johnson Partnership in February 2002 and completed her LPC part time while working here in the Crown Court Department. She qualified as a solicitor in 2002.

Rebecca is an advocate in the Magistrates Court and a trial specialist.

A local lad born and bred, Karl spent nearly a decade in the Johnson Partnership Nottingham office before relocating to the Chesterfield office in 2017. A sharp, tenacious and robust advocate he has a wealth of experience in the magistrates court, police stations and prison law; but relishes the cut and thrust of trial advocacy above all. In his spare time he stays busy trying to manage his garden and his three year old shih tzu, to varying degrees of success.

Helen graduated from the University of Teesside with an LLB Honours in 2005. She took her LPC at Notts Law School whilst working as Chris Saunders' assistant, a role which she started in 2005. Helen did her training contract with the firm and qualified in 2009. She then left in 2010 and worked for three firms in Leicestershire before returning to Johnsons in 2017. She is a magistrates Court solicitor, part of the youth court team and covers police stations. Helen is currently on maternity and we look forward to welcoming her back in due course.

She currently specialises in advocacy before the magistrates court where she is a well known and popular advocate. She is also available 24/7 as a police station representative. She obtained a first class degree in English before training to become a solicitor.

Kirsty joined Johnsons in December 2013, after working at a large criminal defence firm in London. She qualified as a solicitor in early 2013 and obtained her Duty Solicitor accreditation shortly after.
